The “Architecture of invisibility” is inspired by the symmetry of crystals (chemistry) stabilized on the surface of a hexagonal structure. The cylindrical shape is made of interlocking hexagons and allows customers to move around the structure. This structure represents both the code of nature and the invisible skeleton of simulation algorithms, as if the smallest data transformation of reality has been magnified and transformed into a monumental object.

ARTIM: MULTIDISCIPLINARY EXHIBITION-PROJECT “MATRIX”

YARAT Contemporary Art Space presents a multidisciplinary group exhibition called “MATRIX” within the framework of the ARTIM Project. The exhibition will showcase painting, graphics, installation, ceramics, performance, photography and video projects of 29 selected participants.
ARTIM Project - is a program dedicated to supporting young Azerbaijani artists and helping emerging talent grow with confidence and direction. It brings together learning, experimentation, and professional exposure through a set of interconnected initiatives designed to strengthen contemporary artistic practice.
“MATRIX” suggests the possibility that reality can be a programmed and manufactured construction. This is not just the idea of simulation, but the hypothesis that truth itself is formed through coded systems. The matrix is invisible, it is not a form – it is a shaping mechanism.
The “MATRIX” group exhibition abolishes the boundary between reality and illusion. The project leaves the status of the truth open: does the world we see exist on its own, or is it the result of a constructed system? Archetypes, collective memory, and social codes point to the structural layers behind behaviors that appear to be individual choices.
Within this context, the artists take personal experience as a starting point: they interpret the subject by considering reality not as an ontological constant, but as a continuously produced system. If the world consists of codes, then culture, history, ethical norms, and emotional reactions are not neutral either -they are programmed patterns. These patterns regulate collective consciousness, direct behavior, and legitimize the model of existence.
“MATRIX” aims not to change reality, but to demonstrate how it is constructed. This exhibition does not describe reality - it tries to decipher it...
